The Ceremony

A white-washed chapel above the harbour, looking out over the Aegean. Guests are seated fifteen minutes before the ceremony begins.

Long tables under the olive trees: mezze, lamb from the coals, local wine, and dancing until the small hours.

Aegean formal. Light linens, blues and whites. Flat or block heels are wise — the village lanes are cobbled.
